Class of 67 Reunion Profile
After high school and 2 years of college became a Vista Volunteer in North Carolina doing community organizing. For two summers after high school I worked as a camp counselor for the Green Bay YMCA that had a great canoeing and sailing program.
I was a conscientious objector during the Vietnam War and did alternate service for the National Council of Churches in Puerto Rico.
Worked for the State of Alaska for 30 years in design and construction. I loved the projects that took me all over the state working on roads, bridges, and airports. Retired in 2011 to care for Jacqueline.
Memorable events include working on a Mayan archeology excavation in Belize; trips to Tikal in Guatemala, Japan, Italy, and Tunisia. Oldest son Ian was born in Australia.
Three children and one stepson. Seven adorable grandchildren.
Moved from Alaska to Snowflake Arizona in 2012 with two horses, dog, and cat. We love the magic of the southwest.
